Since June 2012, The Porter House has been managed by Myles & Sharon Doyle. Born and reared in Castlebridge, this was a particularly proud moment for Myles. The Porter House has been a pub in the village for over 100 years and is an integral part of the community. One of their beliefs is that there are certain establishments within a community which stand for the spirit and heart of the community, and they feel that place is The Porter House. Myles and Sharon promote this through their sponsorship of the Shelmalier GAA Club and the local drama group, Bridge Drama as well as many other local fundraising events throughout the year
