Castlebridge Arts and Craft Group

One of the Castlebridge Senior Citizens Groups: Castlebridge Arts and Craft Group, meet on Mondays from 2pm to 4pm in Castlebridge Community Centre. Afternoon tea is provided. The aim of the group is to facilitate people with an interest in meeting socially and sharing their creativity, be it Knitting,  Crocheting, Tapestry, etc.  We are open to people with none of these skills to pop in for tea and chat especially new people in the community. Our knitters have taken on a number of projects most recently they knitted socks for the film Shadows with a mention in the credits, the Bravery Blankey charity were the recipient’s of blankets for children with cancer, and have also been part of the Age Action big knit project. We are a group that is interested in all aspects of our community.
